Immediately after payment you'll be redirected to book your kickoff call. Retainers start with a strategy session in your first week; assessments begin with a scoping call so the deep-dive is focused on what matters most to you.

What happens after an assessment?
You'll receive a detailed report with prioritized, actionable recommendations you can execute with your own team. And if you decide to continue into an Advisory or Growth retainer, your full assessment fee is credited toward your first month — so trying Yalla, DevRel is risk-free.
Am I locked into a long-term contract?
No. Retainers are month-to-month subscriptions handled through Stripe — you can cancel anytime. Assessments are one-time, fixed-scope engagements.
How much does DevRel consulting cost?
Yalla, DevRel LLC offers ongoing Advisory retainers at $4,000/month, Growth retainers at $8,000/month, and an application-based Embedded engagement (fractional Head of DevRel) from $15,000/month. One-time assessments for Developer Experience, Developer Marketing, or Developer Community are $5,000 each — a fraction of the cost of a full-time senior DevRel hire.
