The challenge
The organization had always focused exclusively on enterprise partnerships, with no mechanism to discover, support, or fund grassroots builders. An entire segment of the ecosystem was being missed.
The approach
Created a global founder enablement program with a progressive Learn → Build → Hack pipeline. Each stage filters and intensifies support, culminating in in-person founder houses with mentorship and non-dilutive funding.
The results
1000+ founders reached across 40+ countries. The program expanded to multiple cities globally, fundamentally transforming how the organization sources innovation alongside its enterprise track.
What to take from this
- → A progressive pipeline beats a single big program: each stage filters, so the expensive in-person support goes to builders who have already demonstrated commitment.
- → Grassroots and enterprise are not competing strategies. Running both gave the organization an innovation source its partnership track structurally could not reach.
- → Non-dilutive funding at the final stage is what separated this from a hackathon circuit — it changed who applied.
